پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی نقش خود پنداره، تنظیم هیجان و اضطراب کرونا در پیش‌بینی رفتارهای خود مراقبتی مرتبط با بیماری کووید-19 انجام شد. روش پژوهش حاضر همبستگی (مبتنی بر پیش‌بینی) بود. جامعه آماری پژوهش را افراد 18 تا 45 سال شهر تهران در سال 1399-1400 تشکیل دادند. به این منظور،  نمونه ای شامل 355 نفر زن و مرد بزرگسال به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس و به صورت اینترنتی از طریق شبکه های مجازی به پرسشنامه های رفتارهای خود مراقبتی، راهبردهای تنظیم هیجان، مقیاس وضوح خود پنداره و مقیاس اضطراب بیماری کرونا پاسخ دادند. جهت تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها از آزمون‌های همبستگی و تحلیل رگرسیون گام به گام استفاده شد. نتایج آزمون همبستگی نشان داد که بین اضطراب کرونا، ارزیابی مجدد شناختی و وضوح خودپنداره با رفتارهای خودمراقبتی همبستگی مثبت و معنی‌داری وجود دارد، و بین فرونشانی با رفتارهای خودمراقبتی همبستگی منفی و معنی‌داری وجود دارد. نتایج رگرسیون نشان داد متغیرهای وضوح خودپنداره، اضطراب کرونا و ارزیابی مجدد شناختی پیش‌بینی کننده‌ی مثبت و معنی‌دار افزایش رفتارهای خودمراقبتی هستند، اما فرونشانی پیش‌بینی کننده‌ی منفی و معنی‌دار آن است. با توجه به یافته‌های بدست آمده، می‌توان به منظور تعیین اولویت‌های آموزشی و مداخلات روانشناختی در جهت افزایش رفتارهای خود مراقبتی و کاهش خطر ابتلا به بیماری کووید-19 بهره گرفته شود.
