Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of mediator of competitive advantage and organizational reputation in the causal relationship between social responsibility and Team performance of Persepolis Club. The research method is descriptive-survey in terms of purpose and applied with a structural equation approach.The statistical population included all Persepolis fans and the sample size according to Morgan table was 384 people (randomly).The Ressler's Club Reputation Questionnaire (2010), Hosseini's Competitive Advantage (2011), Galbrith Social Responsibility (2010), Glenn Team Performance (2003), Hosseini (2016), Cooper and Satter (2011) were used. Descriptive and inferential statistics with SEM approach were used to analyze the data; The results were analyzed using SPSS22 and Smart PLS3 software. It was found that social responsibility has a positive and significant effect on team performance, competitive advantage and organizational reputation. The direct and significant effect of reputation on team performance and the mediating role of reputation was minor confirmed. However, the effect of competitive advantage on team performance and the mediating role of competitive advantage was not confirmed. It is suggested that Persepolis, by performing social responsibilities in economic, ethical, legal and humanitarian dimensions, promote the reputation, competitive advantage and team performance of the club.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of input sources, market position and creativity in creating a competitive advantage for sports businesses. This research was a descriptive-survey and in terms of practical purpose. The statistical population of this study consisted of managers of water sports recreational complexes in Tehran. To collect the data needed to test the hypotheses, a field method and a questionnaire were used. To obtain more confidence in the results, 80 questionnaires were distributed among managers in purposeful way in relation to the distribution of water sports complexes in five districts of Tehran province of which 75 questionnaires were analyzed. Findings showed that Input resources, market positioning and creativity power has a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage.
The results of this study are the purposefulness of the hybrid approach due to the ability to properly use input resources including human, organizational and financial resources, attention to customer capital and having competitive intelligence as creators and stabilizers in the market and also capital of innovation, information technology capability and knowledge management as the most important resources and elements in using creativity, they can bring a competitive advantage to businesses.

Abstract

In this study, some predictions and consequences of football fans' engagement have been examined. The present research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of how to collect descriptive information of correlation type. To collect the required data, Persepolis football team fans (n = 220) were considered as a statistical sample and completed the electronic questionnaires voluntarily. To collect data from six questionnaires; Team Quality Questionnaire Zhang et al. (1997), Communication Quality Questionnaire Nyadzayo et al. (2015), Emotional Satisfaction Questionnaire Reynolds & Beatty (1999), Perceived Value Questionnaire Daniel Sweeney (2008), Engagement Questionnaire Researcher-made, Behavioral Questionnaire Kim (2008) has been used. The results of structural equation modeling showed that team quality affects emotional satisfaction and engagement of fans, but relationship quality only affects engagement. The relationship between emotional satisfaction and fan engagement as well as the relationship between engagement and behavioral intentions was positive and significant. The role of positive mediation of emotional satisfaction on the relationship between team quality and fan engagement was confirmed. Also, Perceived value moderated the causal relationship between relationship quality and emotional satisfaction. According to the results, it is suggested that the clubs, by improving the quality of their team and relationship with the fans, create a permanent engagement for them so that they can increase their intention to re-presence and word of mouth spread.

Abstract

Like any other social system, universities have a significant role in training and supplying efficient manpower. In this regard, educational services provided by the universities are among the most important educational fields of any society which have a close relationship with community development; And the faculties of physical education and sports science are no exception. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to design a model for measuring the quality of educational services of faculties in physical education and sports science.The methodology of the present research has been applied in terms of purpose, and from the perspective of the method, descriptive-Correlation is specifically based on structural equation modeling. The population was estimated using the sample size estimator software based on the statistical power of  (n=382). Sampling method was selected as a one-step cluster sampling from three geographic regions of the country. In the present study, the evaluations related to the face and content validity and convergent and Discriminant validity were carried out based on the supporting standard opinions of experts, Composite Reliability, Average Variance Extracted, Fornell and Larker it has been done. Was also used for data analysis by lisrel 9/30 Software.In overall, the 5 identified components could explain 58.36 of the data variances of this study, in which 24.09 belonged to educational requirements, 10.12 to aesthetic requirements, 9.06 to context requirements, 8.15 to external participation requirements and 6.94 process requirements.Based on the proposed model, it is suggested that Physical Education faculty managers pay great attention to their students’ educational requirements in order to improve their quality of services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare the effect of mental imagery, observational learning, combined (imagery and observational learning) and physical training on mental representation and performance of novice golfers. To this end, 60 students(age:22.8±2.11) were randomly assigned in four groups: 1) mental imagery, 2) observational learning 3) combined (imagery + observational learning) and 4) physical training. After the pre-test, the participants in each group performed the golf putting for 3 consecutive days (60 attempts per day) and the post-test was performed on the third day. Two days after the post-test, a retention test was taken. Performance accuracy and structure of mental representation of participants were measured as dependent variables. Results showed that in the golf putting variable, the physical training group was better than other groups. Also, the performance of the combined group was better than the imagery and observational learning group. In addition, in the mental representation variable, the combined group had a more structured and accurate mental representation than than other groups. In addition, the imagery group had a better mental representation than the observational learning and physical training group. Overall, The result of this study show that physical training compared to other methods increases the accuracy of golf putting. Also combined imagery and observational learning training, has a greater impact than other methods used in this study.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of physical maturity and chronological age on the motor abilities of students aged 7-12 years. 600 students aged 7-12 years were selected in three age categories. To determine the state of physical maturity, the estimation of the percentage of adult height obtained at a certain age was used. Finally, the motor ability test was used to assess motor ability. The results of the present study showed that the effect of chronological age was significant for the variable of motor abilities in girls and boys studied. Also, the effect of maturity level was significant for the variable of motor abilities. Comparison of means showed that students born at normal maturity levels have higher mean motor ability than students born at early and late maturity levels. According to the results of the present study, the level of maturity has a significant effect on the performance of motor skills. Finally, the results of this study are limited to the current population and limited to the age range of 7-12 years in Tehran and do not represent all age groups.

Abstract

Using the general strategy map as a model or copying the strategy map of other countries has endangered the life of educational sport, this issue has caused the lack of accurate information about the capabilities and strategic goals of educational sports management, so in the present study The capabilities and strategic goals of educational sports management have been identified based on a balanced scorecard. The research method was qualitative content analysis. The statistical population included experts in the field of sports management and those in charge of educational sports. Sampling was continued purposefully until data saturation. The data collection process consisted of 12 semi-structured interviews and review of documents related to educational sports. In order to evaluate the quality and validity of the research results, Lincoln and Guba (1985) evaluation criteria including validity, transfer, reliability and verification criteria were considered. Data analysis was performed simultaneously with data collection and qualitative content analysis. In the open coding phase, 105 concepts, 18 sub-categories and finally 6 main categories (internal processes, customer, learning and growth, finance, employee satisfaction, environment and community) were extracted. According to the research findings, it seems that the mentioned processes are effective in explaining the comprehensive management system and improving the performance of educational sports by understanding its requirements and requirements.

Abstract

Talent management is one of the most important issues of human resource management in the world and it is still considered one of the important issues in many organizations and the importance of human resources is much higher than new technologies. There are more financial and material resources. The purpose of this research was to compile a talent management model in racquet sports with the foundational data theory approach. The present research method was qualitative and exploratory. The socio-statistics of this research were experts, professors and experts who deal with talent search in Iran's racket sports in the Ministry of Sports, Federations, Education and Culture, Academies and Sports Centers. Sampling Method It was non-probability sampling with purposeful selection. The sample size in this study was equal to 20 people. The measurement tool was an open interview, which was used to measure the reliability of the within-subject agreement method of two coders, based on which the obtained validity was equal to 0.78. Also, codings were analyzed based on three stages of open, central and selective coding. Based on data analysis, 159 primary concepts, 25 central codes and 5 selective codes were identified. Finally, it is suggested to improve the recruitment process in racquet sports by using the presented model, which will ultimately lead to the development of racquet sports in the country.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of educational intervention of the concepts sport law on coaches’ attitude, knowledge and behavior. The method of this study was quasi-experimental, including two groups, and pretest-posttest, as well as follow-up study. Hence, 50 coaches from Eghlid, Fars province were selected by availability sampling method, then accidentally divided in two experimental and control groups. A researcher made educational protocol employed in this reseach for educating the concepts of sport law. Also, for measuring the efficiency of the educational protocol, a questionnaire for measuring the coaches’ attitude (researcher made), a questionnaire for measuring the knowledge of coaches (Mirsafian, 2018), as well as a researcher made check list employed for measuring the behavior of coaches. The Covariance analyzing test as well as Repeated Measure ANOVA employed for analyzing the data provided by research’s instruments. The results indicated that educational intervention of sport law concepts significantly effect on changing the coaches’ attitude, improve their knowledge and consequently, changing their behavior after participating in 8 educational sessions. Furthermore, effect of mentioned educational intervention was stable after 3 months from finishing the educational sessions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of the customer relationship management dimensions in promoting public sports from the perspective of sports managers in Kerman. The research method is descriptive correlation and the statistical population consists of all the managers of clubs and sports organizations in Kerman city. For data gathering, the questionnaires of the customer relationship management and the public sports are used. In order to analyze the data obtained for the research variables, the structural equation modeling the Smart PLS software is used. Findings indicated that three dimensions of customer relationship management namely Customer focus, relationship management and knowledge management has a direct and significant impact on promotion of public sports. According to the research results, it can be concluded that all managers of clubs and sports organizations governmental and nongovernmental need to do their utmost In order to communicate with the customer to encourage community participation and promote in public sports.
