Abstract

Promoting physical activities at schools not only encourage students to do sport along their lifetime but also lead to a better physical and mental health among them. Therefore, the aim of this study is first to predict the future of sport among Iranian students, then, to develop its scenarios for the next 15 years and finally to make a strategy. In this study, the scenario-based approach, which is based on an intuitive logic one, was applied and the method of trends and uncertainty analysis as well as a six-step integrated scenario planning were used. The participants of this study were 38 internal and external stakeholders of Iranian student sport selected by purposeful sampling. The data were collected by interviews and open-ended questionnaires. According to the findings, the analysis of the 30 key factors resulted in two key uncertainties: "regional planning and resource abundance" and "adaptive legislation on the principle of cultural difference" which form the basis of the four main student sport scenarios. As a result, to develop Iranian student sport, it is recommended to make a comprehensive planning based on local ecological issues for each region.

Abstract

This study was done to predict Consumption Behavior of spectators including tendency to Attend Again and purchasing marked merchandises. So, using correlation method, presented spectators in Azadi Stadium are chosen as statistical population. 696 people were chosen randomly and fill Alimohammadi's questionnaire of factors affecting presence and Kim's questionnaire of spectators' Consumption Behavior. Results from multi-regression analyze show that excitement, attendance & support, interaction & escape and information & attractiveness components have ability to prediction tendency to spectators of Esteghlal and Perspollis Attend Again and attendance and support components have ability to prediction purchasing marked merchandises. Attendance and support components have the most influence and interaction and escape have the least effect on spectators' tendency to Attend Again. According to these results, it can be suggested to managers of this clubs to more activate fan clubs, increase matches excitements and improve knowledge of spectators.

Abstract

Researchers have shown that visual motor skills can be improved by practicing visual skills for optimal motor performance during sport. The aim of this research was to study the effect of 6 visual training on vision functions skilled players in Badminton sport. The participants of this research were skilled badminton players from Esfahan province. 60 persons (range of age: of 25-30) were divided into two group: experimental group and control group randomly. After the presence of the two groups in pre-test, the experimental group participated in visual training and control group in watching badminton match movie, both for six weeks and three sessions per week and in the last session, both groups participated in post-test. These tests included close-far chart test (hart chart), two rows Saccades test, and test of bringing closes a pencil (prism test), coordination of eye-hand test, and the time of vision reaction test. The data was analyzed by ANCOVA analyses test (p≤0.05).The results indicated that in some visual function (included Visual reaction time, Tracking and Visual concentration   in experimental group was better than control group.

Abstract

Nowadays, social responsibility is not limited to specific organization, and clubs and sports teams have included various forms of social responsibility in their goals and are involved in their implementation. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of club social responsibility on the supportive behavior of the brand of football fans with the mediating role of attitude: The moderator role was empathy. The method of the present study was descriptive-survey and was applied studies according to the purpose. In the present study, Persepolis Club as the study club and the statistical population of the present study consisted of all fans of Persepolis Club.360 people were selected as the research sample and the available sampling method was used. Galbraith (2010) questionnaire was used to evaluate social responsibility, Zhi et al. (2019) questionnaire was used to support brand behaviors, and Zhi et al. (2019) questionnaire was used to measure attitude and empathy variables.To review and analyze of the data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used using the construction equation model, which used SPSS 25 and Smart PLS 3.2.9 software for experiments and analysis. The results showed that social responsibility had an effect on brand support behaviors and fan attitudes, also,the attitude of the fans on the supportive behaviors of the brand was influential and the mediating role of the fans' attitude regarding the impact of social responsibility on the supportive behaviors was confirmed. Finally, empathy plays a moderating role between the impacts of club social responsibility on fan supportive behaviors.

Abstract

Introduction & Objective: Technical and tactical performance analysis of athletes is always considered to improve their performance and other athletes. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the technical and tactical performance profile of elite karate players in different weight groups. Tools and Methods: In this descriptive study, the functional profile of the winning and losing karate players in the league was evaluated. Data were collected using Kinovea software. Excel software was used for data analysis. The studied variables were attack tactics, counterattack, upper and lower limbs techniques and combined techniques. Results: The frequency of attacks was close at different weights. But the winners’ attacks were more effective. The use of single-handed techniques was more common. The winners gained the most from single-handed techniques. Of the total leg kicks by the winners, 10 percent resulted in points. Conclusion: According to the findings, there is a need for specific training programs for single hand techniques and counterattack tactics in further training. Simulating different periods in competition and working on specific tactics will help develop karate athletes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of focusing attention on quiet eye behavior and accuracy of execution on dart throwing skills. For this purpose, 20 male students in dart beginner (age range 19-22 years old) were voluntarily selected. All participants performed external and internal attention instructions in a counterbalanced manner. Thus, Participants first made 10 attempts at baseline (without attentive instructions). Then performed a total of 20 training attempts as counterbalance in both external and internal attention strategies. In all trials, visual system information was recorded using an eye tracking device and the radial error formula was used to measure accuracy. Data were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA (P=0.05). The results showed that the accuracy of throwing was significantly improved in external attention condition compared to baseline and internal conditions (P=0.001). The results also indicate that the quiet eye period was longer in the external focus condition than in the inner attention condition (P=0.001). According to the results of this study, it can be assumed that quiet eye duration is one of the essential mechanisms in execution accuracy of targeting skill in beginners, and that focusing attention in addition to execution accuracy is also effective on quiet eye duration.

Abstract

Abstract

Birth weight is one of the most important indicators of neonatal health in any society and is considered as the best tool to measure the outcome of pregnancy and the most important factor in determining the incidence of disease or death of the infant. The purpose of this study was to investigating relationship between visual impairments and motor problems in children 3-6 age with very low birth weight and extremely low birth weight. The participants of this study were 88 children, 54 children with very low birth weight and 34 children with extremely low birth weight who were selected as available. The MABC-2 test were used evaluated motor performances and visual functions such as visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, Stereo acuity, Strabismus, nystagmus, Accommodation, convergence and visual perception measuring by a pediatric ophthalmologist. Pearson correlation coefficient test with bootstrap confidence intervals was used to examine the relationship between each of the visual measurements and motor function. Also, a two-string point coefficient was used to determine the relationship between motor function and eye deviation and nystagmus. The results showed that the rate of visual and motor disorders in the two groups of preterm children was high compared to the healthy population, but there was no significant relationship between visual deficits and movement problems in the two groups of preterm children. This means that vision impairment does not lead to motor problems in preterm children.

Abstract

In recent decades, sports organizations have paid special attention to the importance of considering the purchase behavior of customers. Meanwhile, the variables that can have an impact on customers' purchase behavior have been considered. This study aimed to determine the causal relationship between relationship marketing and purchase behavior of spectators using structural equation modeling. For this purpose, two questionnaires including Kim’s relationship marketing and purchase behavior questionnaires (2008) were used. After confirming their validity and reliability, these questionnaires were distributed among the sample. Sample was consisted of 430 spectators who participated in Foolade_Shahr Stadium to watch the Sepahan’ games using Morgan table. The research method was statistical -correlational and it was based on the structural equation model. The results of path analysis showed that relationship marketing has an impact on purchase behavior of spectators (β= 0.043, p≤0.05). Considering the findings of this study, approaches can be provided to determine the strategy of relationship marketing and evaluate the impact of this strategy on purchase behavior of spectators- as the main customers of football clubs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dominant and non-dominant mental practice on Badminton's backhand short service. A total of 20 girls aged 12-14 years old from the city of Goldasht were selected and purposefully selected and randomly divided into two groups. Both training groups trained in 30 sessions, in which 50 performance were made to visualize the skill of the service mentally. In order to compare the two groups, the mixed ANOVA and Bonferron's post hoc test were used.  Comparing the between-group, the results showed that mental practice with dominant hands was not significant in dynamic environment and interactive exercise, but subjective exercise was significantly (P <0.05). No significant results were obtained in the within group comparison, but given the low effectiveness, it seems that the difference between the two groups is very close to meaning. Research findings suggest that coaches and teachers of interactive practice can benefit from less-than-lateral mental practice to improve the performance of their athletes in training sessions.

Abstract

This paper attempts to link social constructivism with future research by focusing on which, and to present a short-range theory in constructing the possible future of Iranian educational sport in this process, using the constructivist approach of the basic theory. The growth of educational sports is beginning of the development of sports. The data of this qualitative research had an exploratory-fundamental nature, and was collected through purposive sampling using snowball technique and based on in-depth semi-structured interviews with 22 experts in the field of educational sports. Accurate interpretive understanding and initial, focused, pivotal and theoretical coding showed that educational sport can achieve its desired future and set a vision for which, based on the requirements of future shaping, overcoming the past weight, present pressure and in line with future traction and choosing proactive behavior in the face of the future. Also, for participation in the student and university sports, two construction strategies were presented separately. As a result, a basic theory derived from the data, entitled "The planned future of Iranian educational sports" was explained.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the implications of Covid-19 on sports tourism and to provide appropriate strategies. The research paradigm is interpretive, its nature is exploratory, the approach is inductive, the research method is qualitative, the research strategy is the thematic analysis and the data collection was performed using targeted library study and in-depth semi-structured interviews. Data were collected from two groups of related text and informed people. Sampling was done based on theoretical saturation and purposeful manner (8 informed people and 17 articles). Holsti’s PAO method was used to measure reliability, which was approved. The thematic analysis method was used to analyze the data. The effects of Covid-19 on sports tourism were 67 basic themes, 13 organizing themes, and 3 global themes.  52 basic codes, 7 organizing themes, and 2 global themes were identified as strategies to deal with these effects. Based on the findings, it can be stated that along with the changes caused by Covid-19, the sports tourism industry needs change in its approach and operations. This research proposes strategies to make these changes that will lead to the restoration of sports tourism.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Quiet eye training on gaze behavior in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) of forehand skill in table tennis. Method, In order to, thirty children aged 12-7 years old were selected from ADHD children at Imam Hossein Hospital in Tehran and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. Protocol of the training were performed in 16 sessions and follow up test after six of inactivity. Learning was investigated in the form of change in gaze behaviors such as onset, offset, duration of quiet eye and frequency gaze. The results of the research indicated that the decrease in frequency gaze and onset quiet eye and increase offset and duration of quiet eye in ADHD children. However, there was a significant difference between the two groups of experimental and control groups in frequency gaze. Offset and duration of quiet eye in children who have advanced progression from pre-test to post-test will be more stable over time. Conclusion, the present study confirms that the use of quiet eye training as a perceptual-motor training protocol can be effective for ADHD children by changing the visual perception pattern. It is suggested that a quiet eye training be used as a learning tool for ADHD children.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship and factors affecting the shopping motivation and regret after shopping of the major customers of sports products. This research was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive and survey in terms of nature and method. The statistical population of this study was all customers of sports products in Khorasan Razavi province that According to the Cochran sample size, 384 people were selected as a statistical sample by random cluster sampling And completed the standard questionnaires of regret after the purchase of Delacroix et al. (2007) and the study of purchasing motivations of Iranian consumers Heidarzadeh and Bahrami (2015). Data analysis was performed by SPSS and AMOS software. The results showed that the variable of shopping motivation was affected by factors such as shopping at auction, utilitarian shopping, pleasure shopping, role playing, brand consciousness and awareness (brand loyalty), sensory motivation and inspiring shopping, quality awareness, social shopping, fun or entertainment shopping and value shopping respectively. Also, the two dimensions of feeling regret after shopping and feeling regret due to not shopping were the two factors that explained the variable of shopping regret. On the other hand, it was observed that there is a correlation between shopping motivation and shopping regret and the relationship model between shopping motivation and shopping regret has a good fit. Therefore, identifying shopping motivations can be effective for owners, marketers and sellers of sports equipment stores in creating long-term relationships between sellers and customers.

Abstract

Massive amount of practice over many years raise the question that handling class of action by generalized motor program may modify over years. The purpose of the present study is to provide evidences to investigate this hypothesis by examining the pattern of co-activation and agonist to antagonist activity ratio. Seven experienced darts players were asked to execute from standard dart distance (fourth distance) and six other farther and nearer distances, making 252 throws. Relatively, the results showed that at least in five from the seven samples, there was a significant difference in muscle co-activation between fourth and six other distances. These findings do not support the existence of a generalized motor program at fourth distance so that performance of elite players met limited generalizability

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of physical maturity and chronological age on the motor abilities of students aged 7-12 years. 600 students aged 7-12 years were selected in three age categories. To determine the state of physical maturity, the estimation of the percentage of adult height obtained at a certain age was used. Finally, the motor ability test was used to assess motor ability. The results of the present study showed that the effect of chronological age was significant for the variable of motor abilities in girls and boys studied. Also, the effect of maturity level was significant for the variable of motor abilities. Comparison of means showed that students born at normal maturity levels have higher mean motor ability than students born at early and late maturity levels. According to the results of the present study, the level of maturity has a significant effect on the performance of motor skills. Finally, the results of this study are limited to the current population and limited to the age range of 7-12 years in Tehran and do not represent all age groups.

Abstract

The Present Study has Disburse to Determine the Factors Affecting Attendance of Iranian Spectator in Volleyball World League and its Relationship to their Purchase Behaviors. This Study was a Correlation Research and in form of Field Study. To Collect Data Standardized Questionnaires Factors Affecting Attendance’s Alimohammadi (1390) and Purchase Behavior’s Kim (2008) between Samples (n=372) were Collected and Distributed. The Opinions of Professors and Experts in the field of Sport Management Was Used to Ensure Renewed of Validity of Questions and Items that Used to Measurement the Implications of the Study. The Reliability of the Instrument Was Approved by Using Cronbach's alpha Coefficient in order for the Questionnaires Factors Affecting Attendance and Purchase Behavior Was 0/85 and 0/70. The Results Showed that Vicarious Achievement, Information and Attraction and Excitement were the most Important in Factors Affecting Attendance Spectator and in front of the Facilities, Attending and Support, Scheduling and Inform were the least Important. Results also Showed that the Attending and Support (t=4.44 and β=0.243), Operation (t=2.102 and β=0/117) and Excitement (t=2.43 and β=0/136) has a significant causal relationship with the Purchase Behavior. Considering to the Findings of Research on the Factors Affecting Attendance Spectator could be Provide Guidelines for the Management of the Federation in Attractant Spectators.

Abstract

How the process of acquiring and learning new motor skills can be enhanced is one of the basic questions in theoretical and applied movement science, rehabilitation and sport. The Differential Learning (DL) approach is mainly characterized by taking advantage, for the purpose of learning, of fluctuations that occur, without movement repetitions and without corrections during the skill acquisition process. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Differential Learning (DL) and Contextual Interference (CI) on the Retention and Transfer of Badminton backhand short serve. Prior to the implementation of the protocol, all participants of the pre-test were taken. Then, each group of research performed for 8 sessions according to the type of training. One day after the completion of the practice protocol, of all participants were taken the tests of Retention and Transfer. The analysis t-test indicated that there was a significant difference between the groups DL and CI in tests Retention and Transfer (p= 0.00). In fact, the results of the research show the effectiveness of the DL approach on the Retention and Transfer of Badminton backhand short serve. Based on the results of the research, the conclusion is that the DL approach is useful for learning skills, and can discover adaptive solutions by creating oscillations in the individual and helped to improve and learning skills.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine sport hero/ine’s features and barriers to achieve their status based on students’ viewpoints. 300 students participated and wrote about obstacles of achieving the status of their hero/in through answering open questions. Data were analyzed using descriptive-analytical method and using Van Dijk's theoretical model (2004) in the framework of critical discourse analysis considering macro and micro levels. In describing the sports hero/ine, the women pointed to physical, facial, and behavioral-moral traits, respectively. Also men pay more attention to behavioral-moral, faces and personalities than other traits. The frequency of describing physical, facial, and behavioral-moral traits was significantly higher than other traits. Barriers were divided into 6 classes. Based on the Proportion test, Economic, socio-cultural and personal barriers make the hero's position significantly more difficult than other barriers. Analysis according to macro level of Van Dijk square represented that emphasizing negative properties of Them has the highest frequency among other properties. Participants have used micro strategies of fallacies, victimization, generalization and lexicalization to express barriers. The variables governing the minds of participants and how they are applied in the language suggest that they create inappropriate conditions for making a pattern to be hero/ine.

Abstract

The purpose of the present research was to identify the factors influencing personal branding for individual athletes. The research method was qualitative approach. The statistical population of the research includes 18 prominent athletes who are national and international champions and sports marketing experts. The sampling method was purposive. The data collection tool was in-depth and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was done in MaxQDA software version 2020. 136 primary propositions with a total frequency of 247 and with 3 main categories (environmental factors, individual characteristics of athletes, performance characteristics) and 8 subcategories (mass media, social factors, management factors, economic conditions, individual personality characteristics, social responsibilities, social skills) were calculated as effective indicators on personal branding in individual athletes. The results showed that athletes pay more attention to environmental factors, especially mass media, to improve their personal brand as much as possible and manage it better. Also, officials should consider managerial factors such as the budget allocated to the sports field, Comprehensive planning in order to promote athletes, monitor the behavior and relationships of athletes and the existence of legal infrastructure that affects the brand of athletes.

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to determine the role of errorless and error full training on aiming task learning of normal teens and intellectual disability ones. 20 intellectual disability teenagers were selected from an exceptional school and 20 normal children from the Normal school in Ardebil in the range of 11 to 13 years old (M = 12, SD = 0.8). Normal and intellectual disability individuals were randomly assigned to two errorless and error full training groups according to Wechsler's intelligence test and Alloway's working memory test. The task was to throw basketball balls in the form of a chest pass to the targets with concentric circles. These goals were set at the height of the people's chest in the wall. The subjects performed 200 exercise attempts at the acquisition stage in five training blocks. Single and dual task transfer tests were carried out immediately, 24-hour latency and one week's delay. The data were analyzed using two way repeated measures analysis of variance analysis (ANOVA). The findings showed that the group had the least memory involvement and the least error in both subjects type, in the single task test [P<0.05  and in the dual task test were better [P<0.05 . The normal errorless group was not better than the intellectual disability errorless group, but the normal error full group was better than the intellectual disability error full group. The findings of this study are consistent with the Adam's closed loop theory, the reinvestment theory, and somewhat consistent with the estimates of the challenge point framework regarding the error in the acquisition stage, but these findings are somewhat contradictory with the estimates of the schema theory.
