Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of weight transfer training on static and dynamic balance of older women. 20 accessible subjects that met our criteria divided randomly into two experimental and control groups. The experimental group trained for 6 weeks, 3 times a week and each session 60 minutes a day. Biodex balance system used for training and testing procedures. Data analysis used by repeated measure ANOVA showed significant main effects and interaction for dynamic balance parameters  including overall dynamic balance, anterioposterior dynamic balance and mediolateral dynamic balance) .Intrasubject analysis using t test indicated weight transfer balance training, compared to static balance, improved significantly dynamic balance parameters. The dynamic balance improvement following weight transfer training mat resulted from its effectiveness on sensory and motor systems involved in the dynamic balance of older women.

Abstract

The present study investigates the role of aesthetic dimensions of the place and the tendency of costumers to the sport in physical fitness and aerobics clubs in Mashhad. The research method was descriptive-correlational and the statistical population consisted of customers of Mashhad fitness and aerobics clubs. Considering correlational studies, 250 persons were selected (randomly) as the samples. Then two questionnaires of Soleimani's Aesthetic Dimensions (2012) and Gil's Sport Participation Motivation Questionnaire (1983) were used. The validity and reliability of the questionnaires were 0.71 and 0.82, respectively. The results showed that the most important aesthetic component of "color" is in the first priority and the "environment" component is in the last priority. In terms of forecasting the tendency of customers to sports, It can be said that 43% of the changes in tendency to sports is related to aesthetic variable (P<0.05). The dimensions of aesthetics can have a positive and significant effect equal to 0.77 on tendency to sports. Considering the changing of today's customer’s attitude regarding the use of equipped and modern sports spaces with exclusive spaces and modern style, applying aesthetic dimensions can be useful for customer satisfaction, assurance of their loyalty, as well as the tendency of people to sports and sports clubs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the environmentally friendly behavior of active sports tourists in Bushehr. The sample included 102 tourists who completed the research questionnaire. The research tools were questionnaires of compliance with the environment, environmental policy, environmental inclination and word-of-mouth advertising by Kontojiani and Kotoris (2014). Descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling were used in PLS3 software for data analysis. The results showed that the environmental compatibility of the services of sports recreation centers has a significant effect on the word-of-mouth advertising of tourists, and the friendly policy of protecting the environment among tourists has a significant effect on their willingness to preserve and care for the environment. The desire to preserve the environment was not causally related to word of mouth. The compliance of sports tourism service centers with environmental protection indicators did not have a significant effect on the desire to protect the environment, and therefore sports tourists who have an environmentally friendly policy show their desire to protect the environment in any situation. Based on the results, it is suggested that various training courses and programs be held for sports tourists in order to familiarize themselves with environmental issues and to improve their environmental practices and attitudes.
