Abstract
So that the morphological and transverse changes of the Ghezelozan River have been evident in recent years and caused some problems. In this study, the detection of river side changes was carried out using satellite imagery of TM and OLI Landsat 5 and 8 in the period 1993 to 2013, during which an interval of 158 km from the Ghezelozan River, using the transect method evaluated. The channel duct was divided into 24 transects based on morphology and the process of change. The average migration rate of the Gezelozan River duct has been around 4.47 m / year over the past 20 years. The highest transhumance rate between 1993 and 2013, at 10.58 m / year, is related to transect 16, resulting in 52.51 hectares on the right bank of the river. Overall, the results show that during the period 1993 to 2013, close to 207.14 hectares was added to the right bank of the river and nearly 215.31 hectares from the right bank were decreased. Also, in this study, sinusoidal index was used to study the shape of the duct flat, based on which there are 15 sinusoidal transects.

Abstract
The irregular exploitation of groundwater aquifers in Shahriyar Plain has caused the drop of ground-water level in the region. Artificial nourishment of aquifers can increase the size of ground-water storage, reduce its level drop, and also prevent the advance of brine and drying of the aqueducts. In this study, we tried to integrate GIS and Boolean logic in order to identify the best areas for artificial recharge in Shahriar Plain. So, the seven factors (slope, permeability, thickness of alluvium, portability, both drop zones, land use and electrical conductivity) of water samples were specified in GIS and then respective maps were prepared. Then, using the acquired weight of each layer, maps for each weighted factors of locating were integrated. Using Boolean logic, final maps were prepared in two classes: suitable and unsuitable. Finally, the best place for the implementation of artificial recharge of aquifers in the region was identified. Results indicated that the suitable regions mostly lie in areas with slopes less than 3 % and that they are mostly near Chitgar river.

Abstract
Iran's vast country has different geographic conditions. As of the thirteen known climates in the world, it has eleven types. This has made many environmental, natural, recreational and economic benefits. The purpose of this study was to investigate, identify and introduce the geotouristic capabilities of Ghezelowzan Basin based on the Fassoulas method. The catchment area of the Ghezelowzan is a landform of various quaternary processes that are changing. Identification of geosite plays an important role in explaining quaternary developments. The research methodology is based on description and analysis, which is described as a field study of the library to describe and describe the region. The selected geosites were then positioned on topographic maps of 1/50000 and using geological maps of 1/100000 of the region, the lithology of different landforms such as hoodoos, Behestan dom, salt domes Chehrabad, Pari lakes, copper mine Baiche Bagh, dikes Sedimentary, cuesta-like forms, kalut-like shapes, Kcadovan-like shaped forms, glacier circuses, and tectonic valleys-fridges. After identifying landforms, one of the most common and comprehensive geotouristic models called Fassoulas was used. The criteria defined in this model were defined in six main categories: scientific, ecological, conservation, cultural, aesthetic, economic and potential use. By assessing landforms in this model, it was determined that the chimneys of the Jen, Behestan, dome, Darband Ghaterchi valley and salt Dome of Chehar Abad were selected as the most suitable geocites for obtaining the maximum scientific and ecological score, while the Belogice glacier landform was also the lowest.

Abstract
Channel retreat are an important process in the river's morphodynamics, which affects channel variation, flood plain development and habitat development. Structures and farmland the border of the Lavij River Faces the risks of river bed change every year. Therefore, there is a need for a reliable method to determine the river bank retreat and predict the river bank Stability. In this study, with the aim of investigation of the risk of erosion and identification of areas susceptible to erosion in the Lavij River, Using BEHI and NBS models, the risk of side erosion was determined in 7 sections of this river. The results of the NBS model using the tnb / tbkf index showed that the rate of erosion of the Lavij river bank in all studied cross sections, except for cross sections 2 and 6 ,erosion rate is high and very hight. According to the indicator (dnb / dbkf), the bank erosion rate of the Lavij River, except for sections 4 and 5, is approximately consistent with the erosion trend obtained from the first index (tnb / tbkf). According the BEHI model, cross sections 5, 4, 3, 1 and 6 show a high incidence of instability and have a great potential for bank erosion and sediment production. Also, cross section 2 shows the medium instability status. Cross Section 7 and 2 show a high degree of instability, which has a high potential for bank erosion and sediment production. Finally, Kruskal-Wallis statistical test was fitted to evaluate the results matching and the results showed that all three indicators were almost identical to each other in the assessment of bank erosion.

Abstract
Radar sensors obtain regular and frequent radar images from which ground motion can be precisely detected using a variety of different techniques. The interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) is utilized to retrieve the spatial characteristics of the largest coseismic landslide Maleh-Kabood, induced by the Ms 7.3 Azgleh earthquake in Kermanshah Province, Iran. The available seven interferometric pairs with good coherence selected from the Sentinel 1, 2 imagery data covering the NW-Zagros mountainous area are used in the study. The post-seismic topographic change relative to the pre-seismic over the landslide area is spatially mapped from the persistent scatterer network adjustment solution. The quantitative estimation of local elevation change, mass sliding volume and deposit thickness associated with the landslide is conducted. The spatial pattern of mass movement suggests that the giant landslide is characterized by a major sliding length of 3570 m along the NW–SE directions with an extension width of 1500-2300 m along the Maleh-Kabood and Ghoch-Bashi gully respectively, and a peak height change of 20 m in the vertical direction neat mountain ridge. The affected area of landslide mass movement reaches 6.0 km2 (577 Hectares) with the volume up to 500 million m3. Comparative studies indicated that the Maleh-Kabood landslide is the largest landslide in Iran over the past few centuries. The study also demonstrates the potential of InSAR technique as an alternative to allow the quantitative measurement of mass wasting volume associated with earthquake-induced giant landslides.

River management, including strategies that effectively have an effect on the behavior. Geomorphological management, is the study of shapes, nature, and origin, processes of emergence, development and use of human and material composition of the Earth. The assessment of river character and behavior in Stage 1 is based on analysis of the assemblage of geomorphic units (channel and floodplain landforms) along any reach. Arangeh River basin were identified in 1and 3 styles, including: Headwater, Gorge style in confined valley setting, planform controlled, floodplain bed, low sinuosity cobble, low sinuosity gravel, bedrock controlled sand, meandering gravel, unconfined low sinuosity cobble with Side stabilized, partly-confined low sinuosity cobble with Side stabilized, partly confined Asymmetric valley with cobble, , partly confined symmetric valley with cobble ,Artificial bed.Geomorphic conditions of each of the styles were evaluated in the two stage of river style framework. at this stage of adjustment of Each style is determined to the confusion of peak flow by using criteria such as channel characteristics (size, shape, morphology Bank and plants channels), channel plan form (sinuosity, lateral stability, geomorphic units into the channel and River flood plain and plants) and features bed . Two Style had good geomorphic conditions (floodplain bed bedrock controlled sand, unconfined low sinuosity cobble with Side stabilized) show the potential of a good adjustment, and the reach has a good of potential adjustments are more sensitive to changes . In the fourth stage of rehabilitation is carried out in reach scales, basins and river basin based on forecasts of possible changes in the future and potential of Geomorphic River Recovery. Each style is proposed management priorities in accordance with the geomorphic and recycling potential.

Abstract
The Ghezel Ozan basin in an area of 50000 KM2 is in the northwest of Iran. Recognition of variables like captivity and deviation of rivers, erosion and compact surfaces, the affects of old lakes by the reflected affects on 1:50000 scaled topographic maps of the region, are some of the points which is tried to find out the changes of Quaternary of the basin. Although Ghezel Ozan basin is ended to Caspian sea as an open basin, the geomorphologic and topographic evidences show that this basin became independent between two basins of Ghom and Orumiye after Pasadenian moves and also was multiple closed sub basins which the waters were moved to the central pits in each surface such as Bijar, Zanjan, Tarom, Yangi Kand and Miyane. The size of some of these pits is such huge so that could be visible in topographic maps by water network and marl sediments of their bed. On the other hand, some are very small and limited which follow the local topographic position or has shaped under the influence of the main processes of the time and has been destroyed by changes. The past topographic situation and the main processes of glaciers in cold Quaternary, has made different lakes near Ghale Chay River. Pari Lake is an obvious example. However nowadays it is irrigated by an artificial channel ramified by Ghale Chay River.

Abstract
Groundwater resources are important part of the sweet water available to humans. The present study studies and evaluates the quality of water resources of karstic basin of Roein Esfarayen. For this purpose, sampling of water from water sources was carried out and groundwater quality of the area was evaluated in terms of drinking, agriculture and industry using Schoeller, Wilcox and Langelier diagrams, Water Quality Index( WQI) and groundwater quality index (GQI). According to the results of the analysis of the samples taken and the relevant charter diagrams, most of the water sources in the area were in the good category for drinking. The results of the Wilcox diagram showed that only S7 (Springs of Zargara), S6 (Springs of Sarang Zwucha) and S20 samples (rivers at the basin outlet) had saline water but could be used for agriculture and the rest were suitable for agriculture. The water quality table of the region's springs in terms of industrial use also showed that all of the water samples of the region except the Springs of Sangvah, which contains sediment-bearing water, have corrosive properties. The WQI index is also indicative of the quality of all samples taken in drinking water, and only the surface water of the basin outlet whose WQI is above 50 is in good condition. Location and quality zoning of drinking water from the GQI index was also carried out. The GQI quality index in the region varied from 93.42 to 95.87 in the region. Therefore, it can be said that although the minimum quality of samples is related to surface water of the basin, but this quality value is also in the appropriate quality category. Therefore, in total, all the water resources of the study area are in the category of quality in terms of drinking water standards

Abstract
Reviewing the damage caused by landslide proves the need to examine the factors influencing the occurrence of this phenomenon and the prediction of its occurrence. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to improve the prediction of landslide occurrence in the Taleghan watershed using Shannon Entropy Theory. Among the factors influencing the occurrence of landslide, ten factors of elevation, slope, slope direction, geology, vegetation, land use, water congestion, fault, road, rainfall as independent variables and sliding zones were considered as dependent variables. Then, using the entropy index, weighing was calculated for each of these factors based on their effectiveness, and the value map of each parameter was calculated according to its weight. In the next step, by mapping these maps with the map of landslides, a risk zoning map for the basin was drawn up. After calculating the Shannon entropy index, it was determined that 86% of the landslide area is in three medium-risk, high-risk and highly hazardous areas, indicating that the final map of the zoning is based on the correct method. Also, the total quality index (Qs) in this method was equal to 2.3, which indicates that this method is more reliable and more suitable for zoning of landslide hazard in Taleghan watershed. The accuracy of the method (P) for the entropy model was equal to 0.24, indicating a more appropriate resolution of the risk zones in this method.

Abstract
During the last years, following an increase in damages due to occurrence of landslides, human has decided to reduce such losses. Therefore, identifying regions susceptible to landslide and classifying them can partly help man to prevent from happening above phenomena. The current study aims to demonstrate factors contributing to occurrence of landslide in Candrigh Chay basin and then, flattening the basin regarding risks related to landslide event using one methods, Network Analysis Process. In this direction, as respects to basin morphology and also, findings of past researches , ten factors involved in occurring landslides in Candrigh Chay Basin were recognized and used : lithology , land use , rainfall , slope , slope aspect , road slide , sluice power index (SPI), sediment transfer index (STI).Network Analysis Process(ANP) Method was implemented to score and classify factors and scales. Was carried out in order to measure classes of each parameter. The final map showed that the basin has 4 classes considering landslide. Findings reveal flats with low risk and flats with high risk have the least area in Candrigh Chay basin. On the other hand, flats with medium risk and high risk allocate the most area of basin for themself. Comparing slid surfaces with flats facing risks indicates regions located at high and average risk class possess most areas of slide surfaces so that a flat involving very high risk and a flat with high risk devote 35 percent (79km²) and 32/6 (72km²) of landslides for themselves, respectively. In other words, more than 77 percent of landslides conform to flats covering very high and average risk. Moreover, petrology, slope, and, sluice slide were identified as the most effective agents in occurring land_slides. One models, Network Analysis Process (ANP) were utilized through this project

Abstract
Summer catchment basins surrounding the city of Tehran, due to their remoteness from atmospheric pollution and urban manifestations, is considered as a place for exploring and recreating for many people, and as a place for money making out of restaurants attracting many tourists for others. Sangan is taken into consideration as one of the most beautiful valleys in Northwest of Tehran. The summer catchment basins due to the phenomenon of counter urbanization and also escape from city pollution, easy access, and short distance, has taken too much attention, so much that the inhabitants mostly spend winter in Tehran and summer there. Since some buildings have been built along the main river, the study of the effectiveness of riparian zone and also the specification of areas susceptible to flood is of great importance. In this research, using the HEC-RAS RAS model, flood- prone areas with different return periods (2 to 100 years old) were calculated, and then for the floodplain zoning the morphological characteristics of the flood zones gathered during the fieldwork have been used. The careful study of these flood fringe zones indicates that a small percentage of the lands are included in flood hazard zone with the 25-year return period. Also, the comparison of the pictures taken from the Sangan River in the past and present shows that the use of lands in the river bank has been changed and due to unauthorized constructions and gardening along the river, the width of the bed has dramatically been decreased. This factor increases the size of the floodplain area and consequently the damages.

Abstract
System is a set of interconnected components that are systematically interconnected, influenced by one another, interacting with one another, acting as a whole, and being purposeful. A systematic approach is a perspective that allows us to identify the forces and variables that have a significant impact on the environment outside and within a complex and to understand their function and position in the complex. In general, the interplay of form and process in landforms is based on systematic reviews and analysis by researchers and the residual effects of these changes. In this study, the study of glacial geomorphic systems with regard to systematic approach and the interaction between form and process in glaciers of Oshtorankuh is investigated. Geomorphometric analysis of the glacier cirques of the Oshtorankuh region shows that these landforms, unlike the usual glacier cirques, have been expanded more horizontally and superficially than were investigated in depth direction to justify the genesis and lithology of the area. It is often calcareous and carbonate and the carbonate nature of the environment activates the dissolution process in the environment. Therefore, in this glacier system, the dissolution factor is more effective than other active elements.

The purpose of this study was to estimate the amount of sediment of Vanai River in Borujerd. In this research, the characteristics of the sub-basins of this river have been extracted first. These specifications include the physical characteristics of the sub-basins, including the area, the environment and length of the waterways, and the characteristics of the river flow, and its sediment content. In the following, multivariate linear regression, multilevel prefabricated neural network (MLP) and radial function-based neural network (RBF) models are used to model sediment estimation. After estimating the model, the mean square error index (RMSE) was used to compare the models and select the best model. Evidence has shown that initially the MLP's neural network model had the best estimate with the lowest error rate (90.44) and then the RBF model (151.44) among the three models. The linear regression model has the highest error rate because only linear relationships between variables are considered.

Abstract
Floods are one of the most abundant and destructive natural disasters that every year are caused heavy losses of life and property. Due to human activity in river systems and construction in rivers, flood damage has an upward trend. One of the most important actions to reduce flood damage is the provision of flood hazard zoning maps and their use in spatial planning. In this study, the risk of flood in the Nirchay River Basin that located Ardebil province was investigated. For this purpose, the HEC-HMS model was used to simulate rainfall-runoff and to identify flood zones and fuzzy logic in order to overlay the layers and prepare a flood hazard zoning map.The simulation results show the high performance of the HEC-HMS model in simulating rainfall-runoff of the Nirchay River Basin and estimating peak flood discharges. Rainfall conversion to runoff at the Nirchay River Basin controlled by slope and land-use.The most runoff height and peak flow in Nirchay River Basin are located in the upstream sub-basins. This is due to the steep, low permeability soil, frequency impervious surfaces and high CN. The combination of layers using fuzzy logic has shown that about 8.6% of the surface of the basin are located with a high risk of flooding. These zones are located mainly on the floodplain of the Nirchay Basin. Due to the Low valley width and low slope, these lands are always at flood risk. Most settlements in the study area are located at downstream of the basin. This has increased the risk of flooding.

The purpose of this research is to use granulometric analyzes in desertification studies in Gonabad city, To achieve this goal, after the preparation of geomorphological maps of the region, 14 sediment samples were taken from the erosion-sensitive facies of the region. In the laboratory, a series of sieve with a diameter of 2000, 1000, 500, 250, and 64 micrometers, and a container Gatherings of sediment smaller than 64 μm were screened. The results showed that the highest frequency of particle diameter in sand samples was in the 250-225 micron class. And, given the average particle relationship with their transport intervals, it can be concluded that the distance between the particles was close to a point. Variants of different samples varied from 1.502 to 1.319. The most prevalent plots of ridge and the smallest slopes with low slope were the highest. In surveys in the skidding section, precipitates were mostly positive tilted, indicating the prevalence of fine particles in the region.

Abstract
vulnerability is considered as an inherent talent of underground water system that depending on the sensitivity of the system to anthropogenic effects. Natural vulnerability is based on the geomorphologic features of surface karst, type and level of aquifer recharge and hydrodynamic aquifer karstic aquifer in Fars province is the most important source of water supply for the supplement of drinking water of communities in the province, which are prone to pollution due to the natural conditions of the region and human activities. karstic aquifer of Shispir and Borghan plays a vital role in supplying drinking and agricultural water around them. The aim of this study is to estimate the natural vulnerability karstic aquifer of Shispir and Borghan using the proposed model of Cast action 620, and prioritize the level of aquifer in the field of conservation measures and provide management solutions in order to better protect them in this model. To prepare a natural vulnerability map are used geological maps, soil, vegetation, digital elevation model (10 meter) and precipitation statistics of meteorological stations and vulnerability map is evaluated as three factors of C, O, p. In the end, the region in terms of damage in five levels was classified in very high, high, low, low and very. The results of the COP model show the natural vulnerability of the region is high. In addition, the amount of vulnerability in the two upper and upper floors of this region is about 47 % where is the highest coverage area of that region of Shisper aquifer. The results of this study show the efficiency of the proposed methods by Cast Action 620 to detect and protection of groundwater resources from vulnerabilities and natural pollution.

Abstract
Studying the morphology of the rivers and identifying the causes of these changes are widely useful in determining the evolution of rivers and planning the maintenance of the river system. The Karun River, between Bandar-e-Khoramshahr and the constant flow of water in the country, plays an important role in the country's water cycle. Due to the morphological changes of this river that have disrupted the normal functioning of the river, it is necessary to investigate the morphological changes and its causes. In this study, with the aim of investigating these changes with satellite imagery, Landsat images for 1990, 2005 and 2018 were prepared and morphological changes were extracted after required processing. The results show that out of the 36 investigated sections, the width of the river has decreased in 29 sections so that it has narrowed to 450 m around Ahwaz. In order to investigate the causes of changes, the effective parameters in changes such as precipitation, discharge, runoff coefficient, waterway length, permeability coefficient, landform, lithology, land use change, wasteland, slope percentage, drainage density and vegetation density, land Theology and floodplains, To assess the hazards of the area, were used. Floodplain parameter was extracted using ANP_Fuzzy model and landslide and land use parameters were extracted using SVM model. Among the factors affecting these changes that were investigated using logistic regression models and factor analysis were land use changes, vegetation density and sediment yield. These changes have resulted in the destruction of natural habitats along the river, the ability to self-purify water, sudden floods, threatening and damaging human structures, agriculture, and so on.

This study was aimed at identification and determination the spatial variations of sediment yield in Qarasu watershed located in Ardebil province, NW Iran, considering the negative consequences of erosion and sediment yield. In this regard, the monthly time scale, as the basis of work, was used to prepare the sediment rating curves. Preparation of monthly sediment rating curves based on sample flow and corresponding sediment discharge data in 19 hydrometry stations at the watershed during 14 years (2002-2015). All of statistical analyses were done by SPSS statistical software. Also, presentation of spatial variations in sediment yield over the watershed were made possible through the capability of GIS. The results of regression relations between flow and sediment discharge showed a close and significant relationship on a monthly time scale. The regional generalization of these relations for the whole basin showed that the seasonal difference was evident and the highest and lowest coefficient of determination was allocated to May (R2 = 0.74) and August (R2 = 0.55), respectively. Also, the highest and lowest sediment transport was observed in spring and summer, respectively, indicating the type of rainfall-runoff regime dominated on Qarasu watershed. In terms of the annual sediment yield, Yamchi station with 3970 tons per year and Nanakaran station with 66 tons per year, have the highest and lowest sediment yield among 19 stations of Qarasu watershed, respectively. According to the high levels of sediment yield in the Balikhly and Khyav sub-watersheds, it was recommended that more attention be paid to protecting and strengthening the water and soil elements and reducing the driven forces of erosion and sediment production in these sub-watersheds.

Abstract
The Kan-Soleghan basin is located on the southern Hillside of the Alborz, which has affected the Alp-Himalayan active zone over time. In this respect, the evaluation of active tectonic processes and their effects on many human activities, such as the design and construction of cities, powerhouse, dams, and industrial facilities are of great importance. The passage of the Tehran-North Freeway Tunnel from the area increases the activity of the faults that contributed to the formation of the current morphology of the basin. In this research, morphotectonic indices including river asymmetry index (Af), basin shape (Bs), hypsometric integral (Hi), Stream length index (Sl), mountain front sinusity (Smf), valley width to valley height (Vf), topographic symmetry (Tp) was calculated. Finally, the mean of the results of the indices was calculated as the LAT index. In the present study, topographic Map 1:50000 and digital elevation (DEM) maps with 30 m spatial resolution (ASTER sensors), the boundary layer of the basin, were used to calculate morphometric indices. The Kan-Soleghan basin area is divided into three tectonic regions with slow, semi-active, active Tectonic, and the calculation of the relative active tectonic (LAT) index indicates that the studied area is in tectonic terms in active state. The tectonic structures, especially the faults of the region, have affected the asymmetry and shape of the basin. The main river Kan-Soleghan also shows asymmetry, which can be said due to the structural factors, especially the faults of the region, the basin has asymmetry and deviation to the left of the basin. Also, the construction of the Tehran-north freeway and the location of the Tunnel openings in the vicinity of the northern fault of Tehran, is one of the human factors influenced by the tectonic activity of the area, which requires tectonic activity.
