Abstract
The present research aims at comparing the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Behavioral Activation Therapy (BAT) in the improvement of cognitive functions (working memory and simple reaction time) in the heroin abusers in Afghanistan.
To this end, through a semi-experimental design including two groups with pre test and post test, 30 heroine abusers referring to the abstinence center of Universal Kabul Physicians were selected by the availability sampling and were then divided into the two groups of experimental 1 (CBT) and expeerimental2 (BAT). Both groups were first administered the Working Memory Inventory, one of the subscales of Wexler Memory Test (the third edition) and the Stroop software to be evaluated on the working memory and the reaction time. Then the experimental group1 was administered cognitive behavioral therapy and the experimental group2 was administered behavioral activation therapy within 10 sessions of group therapy.
The analysis of the findings indicates that there is a significant difference between the two groups in terms of working memory and simple reaction time. The findings indicate that behavioral –cognitive therapy is more effective in the improvement of working memory and the behavioral activation therapy is more effective in the decrease of the reaction time of heroine abusers. Therefore, both therapy methods are applicable in the improvement of cognitive functions for heroine abusers.

Abstract
Addiction has negative effects on people's psychological and social aspects. In fact, addiction is a chronic disease that causes various biological, psychological and social impact of.The aim of current study was Effectiveness of process emotion regulation strategies in improvement on executive functions and quality of life in recovered addictions in drop in centers. The method of this research is experimental that we used pre-tests and post-tests with control group. The sample consisted of 24 male of recovered addictions in drop in centers that selected with accessible sampaling and randomly they have been appointed in experimental and control group. Experimental group recieved emotion regulation strategies based on gross model for ten sessions, while the control group don,t take any intervention. The information were assessed via Wisconsin card sorting test and quality of life questionnaire. The data were analyzed by analysis of multivariate covariance. The results show that process emotion regulation strategies improve executive functions and increase quality of life in experimental group. process emotion regulation strategies suggest positive clinical implications in substance abuse treatment and relapse prevention.

Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the discrimination role of reinforcement sensitivity theory, emotion regulation processes strategies and cognitive flexibility in discrimination of people with internet addiction. The research design was a two-group diagnostic function. The study population included Internet user students at Imam Khomeini International University in Qazvin (18 to 35 years). Sample selection was done using convenience sampling method. The research sample consisted of 92 participants (46 = Internet addiction, 46 = normal). Data were collected using the Internet addiction inventory, cognitive flexibility inventory, emotion regulation process strategies inventory and Jackson's five-factor scale; and were analyzed using discriminant analysis. The findings showed that reappraisal and cognitive flexibility negatively, and then BAS, BIS and suppression positivey, in order, had the strongest relationship with the present function and discriminated the groups from each other. But the system of FFFS did not have a significant role in the discrimination of the two groups. In general, cognitive flexibility, emotion regulation processes strategies, and BAS and BIS sensitivity are important factors in discrimination people with Internet addiction from normal people.

Abstract
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of Transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) on the rate of drug abuse temptation among adult men with substance abuse disorder in Safadasht. To achieve this goal, a statistical population was used that included all adult men with substance abuse disorder in the Akhavan center located in Safadasht. The experimental research design is a pre-test post-test with a control group and an experimental group that the sample size of up to 30 people (15 people in the experimental group and 15 people in the control group) is available using sampling method. The number of meeting held was 10 meeting and was held once a week in the center. In this study, a material temptation questionnaire as well as Transcranial electrical stimulation was performed on the sample group. Multivariate analysis of covariance was (Mancova) used for statistical analysis. The findings showed that there is a significant difference between the mean of the temptation of drug abuse in adult men with impaired drug abuse disorder (p>0.01); Therefore, it could be concluded that there was a significant difference by eliminating the effect of pre-test scores between the propensity adjusted average of drug abuse according to group. According to the results, it seems that Transcranial electrical stimulation of the brain can reduce the symptoms of cravings in people with drug abuse. Therefore, addiction specialists are recommended to use transcranial electrical stimulation as an intervention method in the treatment of these people.

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive empowerment of mental states on the mind reading ability of substance dependent people. The current study was a quasi-experimental type with a pretest-posttest design with a control group. 30 drug addicts with the same conditions in terms of age, education, occupation, etc. were selected and randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups (15 people in each group). The participants responded to the eye reading test (Baron-Cohen test) in the pretest and posttest. The experimental group was subjected to the intervention of the cognitive empowerment program (Terme program) and the control group did not receive any intervention. The results of covariance analysis showed that cognitive empowerment (Terme program) is effective on the ability to read minds (theory of mind) in drug dependent people. In fact, the Terme program has improved the ability to read minds through the eyes in drug dependent people. Based on the results of the present research, it is possible to use the cognitive empowerment program (Terme program) in the ability to read minds through the eyes for drug dependent people.
