دستورالعمل‌های بازخوردی روشی تأییدشده برای تغییر الگوهای حرکتی به‌شمار می‌روند. با بررسی­‌های انجام‌­شده، تحقیقی در زمینۀ ترکیب تمرین‌­های قدرتی با دستورالعمل‌های بازخوردی برای تغییر بیومکانیک اندام تحتانی مشاهده نشد. هدف تحقیق حاضر، مقایسۀ تأثیر تمرین‌­های قدرتی با راهبرد­های کانون توجه بیرونی و درونی بر متغیرهای کینتیکی و عملکردی ورزشکاران با الگوی فعالیت پلیومتریک بود. 36 ورزشکار داوطلب زن (هندبال، بسکتبال و والیبال) با میانگین سن 2/27±22/3 سال انتخاب شدند و به‌­صورت تصادفی در سه گروه مساوی تمرین قدرتی، تمرین قدرتی با تمرکز درونی، و بیرونی تقسیم‌ شدند. قبل و پس از هشت­‌هفته تمرین، متغیرهای کینتیکی و عملکردی آزمودنیها اندازهگیری شد. تأثیر تمرین‌­های گروه قدرتی با کانون توجه بیرونی بر متغیرهای بیشینۀ نیروی عمودی واکنش زمین، بیشینۀ نیروی خلفی واکنش زمین، زمان رسیدن به پایداری در جهت داخلی-خارجی، نمرۀ آزمون بازسازی خطای فرود و رکورد پرش لی سه‌گام نسبت به دو گروه دیگر معنی‌دار بود. به­‌نظر می‌­رسد، برنامه‌های تمرینی که هر دو دسته تمرین قدرتی و روش‌های کانون توجه بیرونی را به کار می‌­برند، برای پیش­گیری از آسیب‌­دیدگی لیگامان صلیبی قدامی و افزایش عملکرد قابل استفاده است
