افراد در اجرای تکالیف روزانه خود با وقفه­هایی رو به رو می­شوند که در زندگی روزمره آنها تأثیرگذارند. این پژوهش با هدف بررسی تأثیر فعالیت­های وقفه­ای مختلف بر هماهنگی چشم-دست دانش­آموزان دختر انجام شد. بدین منظور در پژوهش نیمه تجربی حاضر که با طرح اندازه­گیری مکرر انجام گرفت، 36 دانش­آموز دختر متوسطه با دامنه سنی 15-13 سال به روش دردسترس شرکت کردند. برای سنجش فعالیت­های ذهنی شرکت­کنندگان قبل از تکلیف اصلی، سرگردانیِ ذهنی روزمرۀ افراد بر اساس پرسش­نامه خودگزارشی و برای سنجش هماهنگی چشم-دست از تکلیف ردیابی در آینه استفاده شد. تحلیل داده­ها با استفاده از آزمون تحلیل واریانس با سنجش مکرر توسط نرم­افزار SPSS و در سطح معناداری p≤0.05 انجام شد. نتایج حاضر نشان دادند در تکلیف ردیابی در آینه بعد از سه وقفه تفاوت معناداری وجود دارد (p≤0.05). مقایسه­های جفتی حاکی از تفاوت معنادار در اجرای تکلیف ردیابی در آینه بعد از وقفه موسیقی-استراحت با چشمان باز و موسیقی-بازی ویدیویی فعال بود که نشان داد هماهنگی چشم-دست شرکت­کنندگان بعد از موسیقی بهتر از دیگر وقفه­ها بود. نتایج حاضر نشان می­دهد ایجاد فعالیت­های وقفه­ای متفاوت بر هماهنگی چشم-دست دانش­آموزان دختر تأثیر متفاوتی داشته و گوش دادن به موسیقی بیشترین تأثیر مثبت را بر انجام این تکلیف دارد.
