fa پرسشنامه عقاید مربوط به یادگیری زبان: اعتبار عاملی، تحصیلات رسمی و پیشرفت تحصیلی دانشجویان زبان انگیسی پژوهشي Research این مقاله اعتبار عاملی پرسشنامه عقاید مربوط به یادگیری زبان (BALLI) را در متن زبان خارجی و رابطه آن را با سطح آموزشی و پیشرفت تحصیلی مورد بررسی قرار می دهد. چهارصد وهجده دانشجوی کارشناسی و تحصیلات تکمیلی که در رشته های آموزش زبان انگلیسی، زبان و ادبیات انگلیسی و ترجمه انگلیسی شاغل به تحصیل در هفت موسسه عالی شهرستان مشهد به این پرسشنامه پاسخ دادند. ضرایب همبستگی پایین در بین سی و چهار عقیده مطرح شده در پرسشنامه مبین آن بودند که نبایستی از روش تحلیل جزء اصلی استفاده کرد. بکارگیری روش عامل یابی محور اصلی و چرخش آن به یافتن چهارده عامل منجر شد. تحلیل آنووای یکطرفه نشان داد که یازده عقیده دانشجویان سال دوم کارشناسی به بطور معنا داری از عقاید دانشجویان سال آخر کارشناسی و تحصیلات تکمیلی متفاوت بوده و مبین آن هستند که تحصیلات رسمی روی یک سوم عقاید دانشجویان تاثیر می گذارد. بکارگیری همان تحلیل روی معدل کل هشتادوشش دانشجوی سال دو کارشناسی نشان داد که پیشرفت تحصیلی با پنج عقیده رابطه معنا داری دارد. کاربرد  این یافته ها در اموزش زبان انگلیسی بعنوان زبان خارجی در ایران مورد بحث و بررسی قرار گرفته است.  This paper explored the factorial validity of the Beliefs about Language Learning Inventory (BALLI) within a foreign language context and its relationship with educational level and academic achievement.  The BALLI was administered to 418 undergraduate and graduate university students who majored in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, English Language and Literature and English Translation at seven tertiary education centers inMashhad,Iran. The low correlation coefficients among the 34 beliefs addressed by the BALLI necessitated dispensing with Principle Component Analysis. The application of the Principle Axis Factoring to the beliefs and their rotation revealed 14 factors. One way ANOVA analysis of responses revealed that sophomore undergraduate students differ from senior undergraduate and graduate students in 11 beliefs indicating that formal education affects almost one third of learners’ belief.  The same analysis of the GPAs obtained by 86 sophomore undergraduate participants showed their academic achievement is significantly related to five beliefs.
