Abstract

Conflict Management is a leadership interpersonal skill. Using proper leadership styles can lead to effective conflict management. This research aims to study the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership in Bass model (1985) with conflict management strategies in Iran futsal pro-leagues coaches. Coaches leadership style and conflict management strategies were measured by MLQ (1996) and OCCI (1991) questionnaires. Statistical population involves 360 players that 197 persons were selected randomly. Above questionnaires were distributed after determination of validity and reliability. In order to data analysis, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were employed. In order to determine the relationship between leadership styles and conflict management strategies, pearson correlation coefficient    was used. Results show that there was a significant positive relationship between transformational leadership style and collaborating strategy and there was a negative significant relationship with compromising, avoiding, accommodating and competing (p<0/01). There was a positive significant relationship between transactional leadership style with collaborating, compromising and competing strategies (p<0/01), negative significant relationship with avoiding (p<0/01) and accommodating (p<0/05) strategies. There was a negative significant relationship between laissez-fair leadership with collaborating and competing strategies (p<0/05), a positive significant relationship between laissez-fair leadership with avoiding and accommodating (p<0/01), and non significant relationship with compromising.  According to this fact that collaborating strategy is sign of effective strategies, avoiding and competing are signs of noneffective strategies and compromising and accommodating strategies show combined use of conflict it was infered that coaches transformational and transactional leadership have positive relationship with effective conflict management at this case the relationship with transformational style was stronger.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of two different age groups (children and young adult) to learning of temporal-special coordination hand movement pattern. Sixty subjects according to the age (children – young adult) and receiving feedback (100%, omitted, self-control) were randomly divided into six groups. This study was done in three days. All subjects practice 100 trails of movement task in each day of first and second days. Retention tests were done in second and third days and reacquisition test was done in the third day. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) with repeated measures and two way ANOVA was used to data analysis. All participants in the first day improved their accuracy across practice trials. In the second day children did not improve their accuracy but young adult experienced improvement across practice trials. There was not significant difference between retention children tests but that was significant about young adult. During the retention tests children who received 100% feedback was significantly better than other children feedback groups and there was no significant between young adult feedback groups. During the reacquisition test children who received 100% feedback was significantly better than other children feedback groups and there was no significant between young adult feedback groups. Results from this study showed young adult are better than children in the learning of this pattern, receiving more feedback can improve motor learning in          children (in contrast with guidance hypothesis) and we must not expect motor skill acquisition occur in children like young adult.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of age and object location on the hand selection in reaching task 120 right-handed children, adolescents and adults were selected as aur as a participant. Handedness was determined by Stanley-corn (1992) handedness Questionnaire. The tasks included lifting, reaching, and making actual use of three different objects. After the participants made 6 attempts, the objects location was changed. Each of the participants had to make 18 attempts. Data were analyzed through Two-way ANOVA and the significant level of 0/05 was used for all statistical analysis. The results showed that there is no significant difference in mean frequency of reaching in right hemi space among children, adolescence and adults (p&ge 0/05). But, there is a significant difference in the mean frequency of reaching in middle line crossing and left hemi space among children, adolescence and adulthood) p&le 0/05). The results also indicated that, Children, compared with adults and adolescents, used non-preferred hand in middle line crossing and left hemi space in reaching objects. In the same way, adults compared with adolescents, used non-dominant hand when reaching objects in middle left hemi space. So, in childhood, it is probable that the consolidation of the dominant-hand has not been established in adolescence, however, relying on dominant-hand to do the tasks increases. In adulthood, regarding the object location, tendency of using both hands, dominant- and non-dominant hands, increases.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership styles with the personality of Physical education (P.E) faculty manager`s in Iranian universities. Research method was a correlation and the statistical population (N=64) included all the managers and assistants of Physical Education Colleges in Iran. Data collection tool was the multi factorial leadership questionnaire MLQ, Bass (2006), Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (GEPQ) and in a pilot study, the Cronbach's Alpha, were respectively estimated as 0.90 and 0.88. To analyze data descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Results indicate that the change-oriented leadership style correlated with the extraversion personality correlated negatively and meaningfully (r=-0.577, p=0.001) and correlated significantly and positively with introversion personality dimension (r=0.547, p=0.001). Furthermore, there is a negative correlation between the action-oriented leadership style and the extraversion personality (r=-0.251, p=0.046) and there is no significant statistical relationship between stability, instability and introversion. The results of stepwise multiple regression showed that the only significant extraversion component is meaningful prediction in the development-oriented leadership style. With respect to the correlation of introversion and extroversion in choosing the leading style of managers and having understood that the personal characteristics make people do different actions and have different behaviors in different situations. According to the personality of managers, can place them in proper positions in an organization and take steps to determine appropriate managers.

Abstract

Ackerman (1988) states intelligence and motor ability as the two important
abilities in three learning stages (cognitive, motor and autonomic) of Fitts and
Posner. Therefore, the present study aims at investigating the relationship
between Intelligence Quotient (IQ), motor fitness and anthropometric
characteristics with basic basketball skills learning stages. The population
includes all seven-to-eleven-year-old boys of Aleshtar city, 1054, 60 of whom
were selected using random cluster sampling method. Data collection tools
included Rion’s IQ inventory, standard tests of motor fitness, and basketball skill
tests of Ifred. Statistical analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation
coefficient and linear regression. Correlation between IQ and performance basic
skills of basketball in cognitive stage of learning was significant and its peak. This
correlation in motor and autonomic stages was also significant but decreased. On
the other hand, the correlation of motor fitness and anthropometric characteristics
with performance basic skills of basketball was low but still significant in cognitive
and motor stages. This correlation reached its peak in autonomic stage. Motor
fitness and anthropometric characteristics are more important in autonomic stage
and IQ is more important in motor fitness in cognitive stages of learning shooting,
passing and dribbling skills in basketball.

Abstract

Volunteer Movement and deliver services to society is phenomenons of  coeval universe. The aim of this research work was to present a pattern for Iran`s sports volunteer absorbance management information system requirement analysis. This investigation was of descriptive-analytic sort and in regard for practical goal, it was type of (UML) methodology and it used object-oriented design model (RUP). The questionnaire implements were prepared. The statistic-population consisted:All youth and sports ministry deputies, directors of all staffs All presidents, vice presidents and professors of Iran`s sports federations.Census method was opted for sampling. Validity of the survey was confirmed by sports management professors and software science professors. Reliability of questionaire was obtained by Brown-Spearman 87/ split-half experiment and Cronbach`s alpha ratio calculation 72/.Findings showed: sports volunteer absorbance management information system requirement was presented which contained: human resource, planning, registration and acceptance, introduction, financial and support, education and advocating, reward and retrain. Iran`s candidate stakeholders were identified and eventually requirement analysis pattern was presented. Identification of information needs is the basis of voluntary information system management, because if the knowledge of the system is not well done, effective interaction between the volunteers and the information system management will not come about. For this reason, the basis for the analysis of the requirements of the information management system of sports volunteers is the identification of information needs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to predict the management of change through the use of information technology components in the Ministry of Sports and Youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran. To collect data, a questionnaire was used to survey the acceptance and use of information technology in the workplace (Davis, 1989) in four sections: perceived usefulness with 6 questions, perceptual ease with 6 questions, attitude towards the use of information technology with 5 questions, and The tendency to use information technology with 4 questions and a total of 21 questions of five values (Likert number 1 to 5, too many) were used and the AdCaracy FAQ changed the management to assess the extent and the extent to which employees were exposed to changes in the workplace to measure The components of knowledge, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement (Likert Five Value Questionnaire). The questionnaire from the translated translated article is a research article to investigate the extent and staff resistance to change (Boehne, 2012). It is worth mentioning that the questionnaire is a super standard and international, and with the confirmation of professors, Is. Its reliability has been approved and certified at an international level of 96%. The methodology of this research is descriptive-survey. The results of the research were descriptive and inferential statistics such as Kalmogorov-Smirnov (to determine the normality of the data), single-sample t-test (to determine the status of the main variables), Pearson correlation coefficient (to determine the relationships between variables), multiple regression test (forward direction Nasal variables) were analyzed using spss software. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between "change management" and "application of information technology". Also, there is a significant positive relationship between "perceived usefulness", "perceived ease", "attitude toward application" and "tendency to use" with "change management" (p <0.05)., So it can be deduced that change management can be predicted through the IT component. In this research, change management is considered as a criterion variable and is predicted through the application of information technology components.
