Abstract

This paper is an attempt to consider the presence of feminine thoughtsin Forugh's poetry. The article investigates the influence of her personal life and also her age on her poetry. In her poetry Foroughdeals withissues related to women of her time and feminine feelings that rise from women’s sensitive soul. She also deals with different kinds of love in her poetry, such as love of the opposite sex (mostly satirical and ironical), motherly love, and love of all people. She also looks critically at patriarchal culture and the captivity and inferiority of women in the past and present. The researchers have cited some psychological theories, like those of Jung and Freud, and also refer to some feminist critics, such as Rosemarie Tong and Jacques Lacan to study and analyzeForugh's poetry.
